A homophobic incident is one, which is perceived to be homophobic by the victim, or any other person.

This could be name calling, physical threats, damage to property, threatening behaviour and/or homophobic bullying at school.

Domestic Violence is the misuse of power by one person over someone they know, and can be experienced by anyone.

 

Support is out there for members of the LGBT communities if and when they may experience hate crimes, homophobia or same sex domestic violence
